Amadi, Hope Azubuike embarked on his academic journey with a Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng) in Materials and Metallurgical Engineering from the Federal University of Technology Owerri, Imo State, where he graduated with Second Class Upper honors. His academic pursuits continued with a Master of Science (M.Sc) in Petroleum Engineering and Project Development from the Institute of Petroleum Studies (UNIPORT/IFP School), Port Harcourt, during which he achieved First Class honors. Continuing his academic excellence, Amadi pursued doctoral studies, currently undertaking a PhD in Petroleum Engineering at Universiti Teknologi PETRONAS, Malaysia, with a concurrent PhD program in Petroleum and Gas Engineering at the University of Port Harcourt, Nigeria.

Professional Endeavors:

With a diverse background in engineering and a specialization in petroleum-related disciplines, Amadi has ventured into various professional domains, including volunteering as a content writer for organizations like Twee360 and Energy Lighthouse, focusing on topics related to teen guidance and oil and gas policy, respectively. He also served as a Pipeline/Fabrication Maintenance Engineer at RIMA STEEL Construction Company, Alakahia, where he honed his skills in corrosion control and material management.

His research interests span several critical areas within the energy sector, including erosion and corrosion control, reservoir characterization, and wind energy exploitation. His doctoral research focuses on the erosion of Shape Memory Polymers and Shape Memory Alloy Sand Screens, aiming to address challenges in downhole equipment integrity. Additionally, his work delves into the corrosivity of the Niger Delta environment, essential for effective corrosion management in the oil and gas industry.
