Dr. Meghna Gohain embarked on her academic journey with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) from The Oxford Dental College, Bangalore, India, in 2016. She further pursued her passion for Oral Medicine and Oral Radiology, earning a Masters in Dental Surgery (MDS) from DA PM RV Dental College, Bangalore, India, in 2020.

She has delved into various aspects of clinical research, contributing significantly to the field. Her work includes studies on temporomandibular disorders among dental college students, prevalence of accessory canals, and the detection of HPV & EBV in subjects with Oral Leukoplakia.

With a specialized focus on Oral Radiology, Forensic Imaging, and Oral Medicine, Her expertise lies in Cone Beam CT, 3D imaging software, and Digital Radiology. Her ongoing Ph.D. research project at the University of Malaya explores three-dimensional surface area analyses on developing teeth apices for age estimation in Malaysian children.
