Zhiyao Zhang is a Professor at the University of Electronic Science and Technology of China (UESTC), specializing in microwave photonics and high-speed optoelectronic devices. He earned his Ph.D. in Optical Engineering from UESTC in 2010. Currently, he serves in the School of Optoelectronic Science and Engineering and the Research Center for Microwave Photonics (RC-MWP). He was a Visiting Scholar at the University of Ottawa in 2017.
