Tech) in Applied Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering from MIET Bhubaneswar, followed by a Master of Technology (M.Tech) in Biomedical Engineering from Manipal Institute of Technology. He later pursued a Ph.D. in Development of Adaptive Filters based on Nature Inspired Neural Network Models for Denoising Medical Images at Birla Institute of Technology, Mesra, Ranchi, where he excelled with a CGPA of 7.25.

He served as a Guest Faculty at University Polytechnic, BIT Mesra, Ranchi, where he imparted knowledge to graduate and diploma students.
