Dr. Ramlan holds a Ph.D. in Public Management from Universiti Utara Malaysia (UUM), focusing on human security and civil society. He also earned an Executive Master and Bachelor’s Degree in Administrative Science from UiTM Shah Alam, as well as a Diploma in Public Administration from UiTM Melaka. His strong academic foundation supports his continuous contributions to research and teaching.
Professional Experience 💼
His career includes roles such as Executive in Research and Training at BAHA Consultants, and currently, Risk Management Coordinator at UiTM Negeri Sembilan. He also serves as a Research Fellow at the Academy of Research and Advocation, and an Associate Fellow at the Research Institute for Indonesia, Thailand, and Singapore (UUM-ITS), actively supporting regional policy research and cross-border studies.

He is skilled in SPSS, SmartPLS, and NVivo, making him proficient in quantitative and qualitative research. Additionally, he has abilities in digital presentation, web development, and multimedia design, enhancing both his academic and outreach activities.
Teaching Experience👨🏫
Known for an interactive teaching approach, he lectures on Research Methodology, Public Administration, and Data Analysis. Dr. Ramlan is actively involved in student mentorship, internship supervision, and co-curricular development, and is certified as an NLP coach and UiTM VCOSP trainer.

Dr. Ramlan has received three gold, three silver, and four bronze medals in national and international innovation competitions. His work has been recognized by government ministries, highlighting the policy impact and practical value of his research.

His research focuses on human security, migration, civil society, and public governance, with specific attention to refugees, stateless communities, youth volunteering, and inclusive policy-making that promotes national resilience.
