🎓 Prof. TAN earned her Master’s degree in Geodesy and Surveying Engineering from Tsinghua University in 2001 and her PhD in Cartography and Geographic Information Systems from the Chinese Academy of Sciences in 2004. She has been a part of Beijing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics since 2004, shaping the future of transportation science.

Experience

💼 Throughout her career, Prof. TAN has held key leadership roles, including General Secretary of the Civil and Airport Department, Director of the Department of Intelligent Transport Infrastructure, and member of various expert committees such as the Digital Twin Three Gorges project. She has also been a member of the China Association for Remote Sensing Applications and has provided expert advice on geological disaster prevention and ecological restoration.
