Ricardo Filipe da Silva Pocinho started his academic journey by completing a Bachelor's degree in Law from the Universidade Internacional da Figueira da Foz in 2003. Subsequently, he pursued a Doctorate in Educational Processes and Virtual Spaces from the Universidad de Salamanca in 2009, and later obtained another Doctorate in Psychogerontology from the Universitat de Valencia in 2014.

Currently holding the position of Professor Adjunto Convidado at the Instituto Politécnico de Leiria Escola Superior de Educação e Ciências Sociais, Pocinho is also actively involved as a Social Judge for the Tribunal de Menores e da Família in the Tribunal Judicial da Comarca de Coimbra.
