His responsibilities include conducting research and project appraisal to enhance efficiency in public procurement, auditing compliance and monitoring processes, offering advisory services, and collaborating on international projects such as MAPS assessments with the World Bank and sustainable procurement initiatives with the UNDP. Prior to this, he served as a Procurement Officer at the Tanzania Wildlife Research Institute (TAWIRI) in Arusha across two tenures between 2013 to 2019 and again from 2022 to 2023, where he managed procurement cycles, tender documentation, annual plans, and contract administration. From 2019 to 2023, he worked as a Research Fellow for the prestigious EU Horizon 2020 Project at Molde University College, conducting independent research, publishing in top journals, and teaching supply chain management courses to both bachelor’s and master’s students.
